Everyone needs a break sometimes, if you haven't realised I disappeared off of YouTube and this blog for a while. That wasn't intentional it just sort of happened but after thinking about it for a while I have decided that I want to take a break - from YouTube.
I don't want to take a break from this blog, although I won't be posting blog posts as frequent as what I was doing, so I'm staying on my blog but don't expect blog posts all the time, I got my first job about a week ago which causes me to be very busy a lot of the time.

As for YouTube, I feel like I need to take a break from it...why? Because I found myself losing motivation for it, I don't look forward to making a video and uploading it anymore, I feel like I have to do it and for that reason it just isn't as fun anymore :/
Do I plan on coming back to YouTube? Yes, hopefully one day I will return to YouTube but when that will be I don't know, I will still be on YouTube watching peoples videos but I won't be making my own for a while. I want to have the motivation to make videos and for some reason I don't have that right now therefore I am taking a break from the platform.

You can still keep up to date with me and talk to me here on my blog and over on my Twitter, I'm not disappearing completely don't worry.

Dear 14 year old Megan,

I know it is hard for you right now, you're having a rough year and you're having trouble with your emotions and every panic attack you have you think your going to die but don't worry that isn't the case at all! You will be diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression but it doesn't mean it's going to be bad forever. You will fight your hardest to get through it and you will be successful at it. Sure there are some ignorant people saying things they shouldn't to you whilst your struggling but just ignore them and carry on fighting to feel better. Life does get better, you end up with an amazing boyfriend who you will be with for quite a while, he treats you the way you should be treated, you will hit a few bumps in the road but you will be strong together. You will get work experience as a teaching assistant like you have always wanted, you will really enjoy it and you will work with some very nice people who will be doing their best to help you in any way that they can. You will also land your first job at 19 over Christmas time on the checkouts in a retail store, you haven't started it yet so I can't tell you how it is going to be but it looks like it is going to great and hopefully you will gain confidence from it. 
I know life sucks right now but it isn't all that bad, things do get better just hang in there!

19 Year Old You

I couldn't be more ecstatic if I tried...why? Because I got a job! :D
I have been searching for a job for such a long time now and finally I have secured my first ever job...it's a Christmas Temporary job but there is the possibility of it becoming permanent if I'm good! I'm not going to say where I'm going to be working obviously but what I will say is that I will be working on the tills.
I am nervous and excited at the same time...excited because like I said it will be my first job and because I will be earning money which will feel so good to know that it is me earning that money. I'm nervous because again it is my first job so I haven't experienced what its like to work before other than work experience as a teaching assistant but that is a totally different job all together and I'm also nervous because I have no idea what sort of customers I will be serving, the majority will be lovely people but no doubt there will be the odd few that cause problems but to be honest that is expected in a retail job really isn't it? I'm looking forward to the challenge to be honest, I know how to act if I get one of those customers so it should be okay :)

Having a job does mean I will have less time to do YouTube and my blog however I'm not going to stop, I will make it work don't you worry - it will just be less frequent thats all but I will still be here :)

I was reading her blog post 43 Glorious Things To Be Happy About and whilst reading her post it got me thinking about all the things that make me happy so I was inspired to write my own list of things that make me happy. 

Oh dear...that basically sums it up to be honest; I'm baffled as to how Donald Trump somehow got the most votes and has been announced the president of the United States. 


Now I'm not American so I don't know all the ins and outs but I do know a fair bit and I'm just so shocked at the outcome. Okay so both nominees weren't that great to be honest, however I feel Hilary Clinton would of been a much better fit as the President than what Donald Trump is - and a lot of people seem to agree with me, I don't know if you noticed but every where you looked it was all about "Don't vote for Donald Trump" and 'Donald Trump is this and Donald Trump is that'. Everyone was against him - apart from the odd few so how did this happen? You saw it this morning when the results were announced - the majority of people all over social media saying "we're doomed" or "goodluck america" barely anyone was happy! It just baffles me as to how that many people were against him that it was very rare you would see something supportive but yet he still won? Where did all of these sudden supports of Trump come from?

Although as you can see I'm very much against Trump being President everyone is entitiled to their own opinon so please be nice in the comments - don't bash me for my opinon and don't bash anyone else for their opinon either. What's done is done there is nothing that can be done now - well to my knowledge anyway. All I have to say is goodluck America and also goodluck to the rest of the world too because no doubt it will affect all of us.

You may have heard everyone raving about the Rimmel 107 lipstick by Kate Moss, if you haven't then where have you been? This lipstick is one of the most mentioned lip products on YouTube and in Blogs if you ask me,especially during this time of year! 
Zoella (Zoe Sugg) always talks about this lipstick and for a while I didn't bother getting it although I really wanted it because I love shades like this but I just didn't buy it (partially because I had no money...) until just the other day I went to Tesco with my boyfriend to grab some lunch and I somehow walked out of there with some new makeup (this isn't the only product I bought) and of course this lipstick was one them. I caved and bought it. So now I'm going to see if it's really worth the hype.



The Application- This lipstick went on so smoothly, it didn't feel heavy in fact it didn't even feel like I was wearing any lipstick at all which I quite like because usually when I put on lipstick I feel like they are stuck to my lipsticks which doesn't feel that great to me but with the Rimmel 107 that didn't happen it was so smooth to apply.

The Colour- The shade of this lipstick is gorgeous! For some reason I was under the impression that this lipstick would be darker than it was although I think that was just a understanding on my part so yes I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't as dark as I thought it would be but nonetheless I still loved the colour of this lipstick.

The Packaging- The packaging of this lipstick is quite simple but I think sometimes simple is good because it doesn't take anything away from the product - I was drawn to the shade rather than the packaging which I personally think can be a good thing because I'm more focused on the actual product. Although, that being said the packaging is really nice and I do really like it.

What didn't I like about this product?
There was only one thing that I didn't like about this product and that was the smell! I'm really not keen on the smell of it and yes I know lipsticks aren't all about smell but my nose is right above my mouth which is where the lipstick is applied so if the lipstick has a smell it does waft up to my nose. Usually I don't have a problem with the smell of lipsticks - they either smell nice and are subtle or there is no smell at all but with the Rimmel 107 it had a smell I really didn't like (and it wasn't just me that could smell it I gave it to my boyfriend to smell and he said the same thing) I don't know if it's meant to smell like that or if it is just my one but I didn't like it. However, the smell is not going to put me off buying it because like I said lipsticks aren't all about smells and to be honest you get used to the smell and it does become bareable. Would I rather it didn't have that smell? Yes. Does it make me hate the product? No.

So is the Rimmel Katie Moss Matte Lipstick in 107 worth the hype?
YES!!! 100% Yes!
I love this product - like I said the only downfall is the smell but we can overlook that.
I think this lipstick is perfect for this type of year when you start wearing your Autumnal looks but I also feel like it would look really nice at any other type of year too. 
Am I glad I bought it? Yes. 
Do I recommend you buy this? Yes.
